AM I THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU? | MIAMI PHOTOGRAPHERS
I use to have a closet filled with all kinds of props. From little crochet outfits to bowls and buckets as well as many backdrops and fillers. After having my oldest, Oliver, I used a very simple and minimalistic approach to his newborn pictures. Little did I know, this would begin shaping my photography business. Throughout his first year, I kept capturing more of my son’s little details and expressions without so many props and colors, instead I used the very same approach I now use for portraits. When it came time to print and frame my photos, it all came together beautifully. I knew this is what I wanted for my clients. Framed portraits that can be hung anywhere around the house and photos that can come together and look cohesive in an album. Timeless photographs.
My approach to portraiture is light and airy. I am a natural light photographer and love capturing soft and bright light in photos. I have set up my studio to be more of a lifestyle approach where parents can bring their little ones and enjoy a calm and organic approach to photography. I have searched endlessly for the perfect outdoor locations and have found two that allow for naturally posed and authentic interactions. (The Field and The Beach) In-studio I photograph during the mornings and outdoor sessions are held an hour before sun down.
I aim to capture emotions. Focusing on the tender moments between you and your baby snuggling and kissing. Your family dancing in a large field laughing and singing, the way you usually do in your living room. I want these photographs to mean something to you when your kids go off to college and all you have is that heirloom album that lasted with you all these years.
As good as cell phones are getting, or as nice as it is to purchase a decent camera and have a friend take photos of your family, it’s not carefully curated as what a professional will do for you. Mama, you deserve a wonderful portrait experience to document these fleeting moments. From selecting your family’s outfit from my Studio Wardrobe to having your hair and makeup professionally done at the studio. I promise, you will feel absolutely gorgeous for your session. At the session you and your family will be lightly guided and I will be asking your kids questions in order to capture their reaction. I believe sessions should be fun and playful to the point that you forget you’re getting your picture taken.
The final step to my portrait experience is seeing your images for the first time. It will not be on a screen but in print. You will get to hold your images and make your selections. All my collections include the digitals and the matching 4x6 print. Some collections bring Wall Portraits where you choose the size and frame (2 inch mat and museum glass) and another collection includes an Heirloom album. All products are of the highest quality and carefully designed to last for generations.
If you would like to set up an in person consultation where you visit the studio, look through the Studio Wardrobe and the Wall Portrait + Heirloom Album sample, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I know how difficult it is to choose a photographer and would love to chat with you before you decide on whom you want to hire as your photographer. I've found that consultations are a wonderful way for you to make sure I'm exactly what you are looking for, both in a photographer and for your portrait experience.
